Corrosion-Resistant PTFE Chamber Spin Coater

Category: Programmable Spin Coater

This product features a miniaturized design, with an all-aluminum alloy structure and a corrosion-resistant PTFE chamber. It is primarily used in applications such as photoresist spin coating, preparation of biological culture media, and the sol–gel method for fabricating polymer thin films.

Overview

Technical Specifications

This corrosion-resistant PTFE chamber spin coater features a chamber constructed from PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), which significantly reduces the instrument’s footprint while effectively maintaining its performance and functionality, making it an ideal choice for laboratory procurement. The instrument is equipped with an advanced precision motor capable of reaching a maximum rotational speed of 10,000 rpm, and is controlled via pushbuttons and a high-brightness LCD display. In addition to direct spin coating, it can pre-store coating profiles for programmable, automated coating processes. This spin coater is suitable for depositing liquid or colloidal materials onto substrates such as silicon wafers, crystals, quartz, and ceramics to form thin films, with primary applications in photoresist spin coating, preparation of biological culture media, and sol–gel synthesis of polymeric thin films.

Key features:
1. Exceptional chemical resistance: prolonged exposure to corrosive coatings does not cause swelling, corrosion, or deformation.
2. The surface is non-stick and easy to clean, with no dead corners in the chamber for effortless rinsing, significantly reducing residual adhesive and cross-contamination while simplifying maintenance.
3. The coating exhibits high cleanliness, with inert chamber materials that are free from leaching and flaking, thereby preventing contamination by metal ions or impurities.
4. Excellent sealing and safety performance effectively prevent the volatilization and leakage of hazardous gases, protecting both operators and the experimental environment, and is suitable for highly corrosive coating processes.
5. Stable operating conditions and longer service life: PTFE exhibits excellent resistance to high and low temperatures, aging, and wear, maintaining structural stability even under harsh chemical process conditions. This results in a low equipment failure rate and a significantly extended service life compared with conventional metal or plastic chamber-type coating machines.
