Aluminum Alloy Anodizing Chamber Coater

Category: Programmable Spin Coater

This product features a compact, miniaturized design with an all-aluminum alloy construction, which significantly reduces its footprint while effectively maintaining instrument performance and functionality. It is primarily used in applications such as photoresist spin coating, preparation of biological culture media, and sol–gel synthesis of polymer thin films, making it an ideal choice for laboratory procurement.

Overview

Technical Specifications

This product is an aluminum-alloy anodized-chamber spin coater, a spin-coating device with an anodized aluminum alloy chamber, designed for uniform coating and film formation of standard reagents such as photoresists and polymeric materials. The instrument is equipped with advanced precision motors capable of reaching a maximum rotational speed of 8,000 rpm, and is controlled via pushbuttons and a high-brightness LCD display. In addition to direct spin coating, it can also pre-store coating profiles for programmable coating processes. This spin coater can deposit liquid or colloidal materials onto substrates such as silicon wafers, crystals, quartz, and ceramics to form thin films, with primary applications in photoresist spin coating, preparation of biological culture media, and sol–gel fabrication of polymeric thin films.

Key features:
1. High surface hardness, excellent wear and scratch resistance; the surface is unlikely to be scratched or deformed during operation, ensuring long-term dimensional stability and a perfectly flat cavity.
2. Excellent chemical resistance and corrosion resistance: the oxide film effectively isolates the substrate from direct contact with adhesives and solvents, making it resistant to rust and erosion.
3. Uniform heat conduction and more stable temperature control: the aluminum alloy itself has high thermal conductivity, and when combined with a dense oxide layer, it ensures uniform heat transfer, which helps maintain consistent film-forming quality.
4. Lightweight structure ensures stability and minimal operational vibration: aluminum alloy boasts low density and high strength, enabling both weight reduction and excellent rigidity of the chamber. This results in reduced whole-machine vibration during high-speed rotation, which in turn enhances film uniformity.
5. The surface is clean and easy to sanitize, with low adhesion of adhesives; the anodized surface is dense and smooth, preventing adhesive residues and contaminants from adhering, facilitating thorough cleaning with no residue, effectively reducing cross-contamination, and making it suitable for laboratory use and small-batch precision coating applications.
